ANDOS and the "Cicatrici" project

By now we all know that October is the International Month of Breast Cancer Prevention and we at Alter Ego Italy, who base our philosophy on beauty, care and respect for man and his surroundings, this year we have decided to make a concrete contribution to the ANDOS association, National Association of Women with Breast Surgery, of Ferrara ODV in support of women affected by breast cancer.

From Saturday 9 to Sunday 17 October, at the former Refectory of San Paolo in Ferrara, it was in fact possible to view the exhibition 'Cicatrici', a beautiful initiative that involved many women operated on the breast, as well as all those who supported the project.

The exhibition consists of 22 photographic shots, made by the photographers Stefano Pesaro and Federica Veronesi.

Each image is linked to a sentence that summarizes the fight against an opponent to be defeated.

The 'Cicatrici' project was created with the aim of raising public awareness on the issue of breast cancer prevention, as well as representing a message of hope through the testimony of women who fought bravely and who decided to share their experience.

We are honored to have supported this beautiful project which shows the tenacity and strength of all these brave women who, in our view, have never been more beautiful than this.
